DCU Star Gets Their First Live-Action Look In Stunning DC Character Art

Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Creature Commandos episodes 1 & 2One member of Creature Commandos" titular team makes the jump from animation to live-action in an amazingly accurate piece of DCU fan art. Creature Commandos" two-episode premiere introduced Task Force M and revealed the backstory for one of them. Victor Frankenstein created the Bride in 1831, some time after he created Eric Frankenstein. Victor fell in love with the Bride, and Eric killed Victor in response. According to the easter egg-filled Creature Commandos episode 2, Eric Frankenstein pursued the Bride for centuries, until the Bride was captured and recruited into Amanda Waller"s Task Force M.
On X, artist Felipe Illa shares his take on Creature Commandos" the Bride, incorporating voice actor Indira Varma"s likeness into the Bride"s live-action appearance. The Bride"s live-action hairstyle looks a bit shorter and her coat looks a little darker. Otherwise, Indira Varma"s the Bride looks almost identical to her animated counterpart from Creature Commandos. Check out the image below:
What The Bride's Live-Action Fan Art Means For Creature Commandos The Creature Commandos Will Likely Appear In Future Live-Action DCU Projects Custom image by Nicolas Ayala Felipe Illa"s fan artwork of Creature Commandos" the Bride isn"t just a fun spin on the animated series" reanimated anti-hero; it also serves as a first glimpse of what Creature Commandos" animated protagonists may look like in upcoming live-action DCU movies and shows. The animated projects in James Gunn"s DCU take place in the same continuity as live-action projects like Superman and Lanterns. Hence, Indira Varma could play the Bride in live-action soon, sporting the exact same look she does in Creature Commandos.
